Easter 4x4 mini album

I'm going to attempt to be better at sharing what I actually create with my printable kits. I thought I'd use this blog as a home for those projects as I can add a few more photos than I do on Instagram and also natter a bit more - lucky you! Haha

I've been using a 4x4 mini album along with my Spring time kit to create a little home for some of my Spring stories and photos from the last three years. Spring is my favourite season, I love the colours and all the Spring flowers. Tulips just get me and regardless of my hay fever, I have to have them in my house

Because I've have tulips hanging around, I've amassed quite a collection of photos over the years. I thought it'd be nice to have them living in one place and this album has been hanging around waiting to be filled. I used a bunch of my digital PNG files to enlarge some journal cards into papers and also added white text boxes for my words

I managed to resize my PNG die cuts and run them through my Silhouette, so they would comfortably fit into little 2x2 pockets. It's one of the best parts of digitals, as you can totally just resize everything to suit your project. Likewise, just topping a journal card with a word phrase also works. You can really keep things super simple or play, play, play

I added in a photo of my book stack from last Easter into my album as well. Its a good reminder that I have quite a few books to read... I may have added to that stack since then - do'h. These die cut bunny slippers are some of my favourite die cuts from the kit too. They look so cute on top of my heart journal card -pink on pink

I'm going to carry on adding to this little album and I promise to film a little flip-through when I'm done playing. In the meantime, its been nice to just stick things down and keep it super simple. The most elaborate thing I did was stitch these little alphas onto a label. It totally adds dimension and interest to the title. It also helps to future proof the album by keeping those pesky alphas in place

I hope you like the album so far. let me know in the comments what you're working on at the moment and if you're planning on documenting any of your Easter happenings or Spring flowers
