iNSD 6x8 spread
Wow, that was a fun weekend! No only did I scrap my little heart out on Saturday morning, but I also had a lovely evening with my husband and our friends finally celebrating his birthday. Then on Sunday, more scrapping and watching some of Ali's Hello Story classes... yes I purchased them in the sale - eeeee!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend and you were either able to scrap along with some of the amazing crops and lives or you were at least able to take advantage of the sales and download yourself some awesome freebies to play with at some point

I was able to get in some quality time with my own printables and created a little page for my 6x8 stories album. I decided to keep it super simple and layer up the die cuts into two little clusters. I cut out all the pieces I wanted to use with my Silhouette Portrait 3 and kept a decent white border on them all

I glued the pink pencil and scissors down first to form my bottom layer and then added some foam pads to the pen pot and glued it on top of the die cuts. I then added the little orange star on some more foam pads to really create a layered look. I then added some enamel dots for a bit of shine as well as stapling that little pink tab with my tiny attacher - adorable

For the top cluster, I glued down the little rainbow and then added the teal label on top with some more foam pads. I dusted off my label maker to add a little title "INSD" and glued that to the label. I couldn't resist adding two more enamel dots, they really do help to make printables look less flat

The final touch was to add a date stamp, which I popped onto one of the banner labels and then stapled that to the corner of my page. I'm super pleased with how it came together and I'm looking forward to using the heart paper on the left hand page along with a photo from Saturday. If you created any projects with the freebie kit, please make sure to share them under the Group on this site to be entered into the competition to win a voucher for the Shop - the competition ends on 14th May
